Tiwa Savage, a well-known singer from Nigeria, has confirmed that she was almost kidnapped on Thursday, April 13.
The Stamina Crooner confirmed the horrifying incident on her verified Instagram page through her manager, and it was also made known that those involved in the kidnapping attempt had been arrested and were being questioned.
According to prior reports, Tiwa Savage nearly escaped a kidnapping attempt organized by her new driver.
The singer’s new driver reportedly shared information about her movements with his co-conspirators, according to self-acclaimed investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo. Fortunately for Tiwa Savage, all those involved in the kidnapping attempt have been apprehended and turned over to the police.
According to a post on Kemi Olunloyo’s Instagram page, the incident took place on Thursday, April 13, in Lagos.
