‘ASTERI’ sees Tega Starr reminding us all that we are stars who dare to dream, love, and be in the pursuit of both. According to Tega Starr, ASTERI means star, which signifies hope. Hope for those who dare to dream, hope for those who search for love, and hope for all. He further adds that we all are birthed with dreams planted inside of us, we chase, we seek after these dreams, and we surrender ourselves to the pursuit of these dreams, at least we all should.
The French Kiss crooner further adds that creating and sharing music has been a dream of his, “I believe I was born with something different, an insatiable desire to shine, and as a result of that, give others permission to do the same. Music gave me the push to fight, to never give up, to stand firm, to work hard, and also to play hard.” This EP aims to serve as a source of light to every dreamer out there, and a reminder that we all are stars.
ASTERI was A&R’d and executively produced by DIBE Entertainment, and features a range of producers which includes; the producer behind Joeboy’s hit “Show Me” – Mex Flairz, Elvin, Mutual Beat, and Sparrq Beat.
