Submissions for the 2023 Grammy Awards are in, as the first round voting for next year’s awards kicked off yesterday, October 13th.
Albums and singles released between October 1st, 2021, and September 30th, 2022, are eligible for submission and consideration, a number of Nigerian artists have submitted their works for Grammy nominations. We could we say this new move is as a result of WizKid/Burna Boy’s influence in the Nigerian music industry as artists are confidently showing off their works to the Grammy.
