Afro pop singer and Nigeria based music artist , Richard Festus popularly known as Riqqi who have been swimming close to the apex of the Nigeria music industry hosted a private listening party ahead of his debut EP set for release in November of 2022 .
The event hosted a selected group of celebrities, media personnels and friends to an intimate and cosy EP Listening party for his debut studio project titled “Vibes from the Creek”.
The singer officially unveiled his new EP which also featured Mr 2kay and Trendz. He admitted that every song on the EP was inspired by a story in his life. Riqqi who has many songs to his credit threw all open to the audience to pick the best “five” that would best suit the EP. It was a hard one for the audience as they found themselves wriggly and dancing to all his songs.
Riqqi who hails from port harcourt made his mark in the music industry in Nigeria and have affirmed his place on the landscape with a number of hits to his credit. His first single dropped in 2021, and since then, he has not stopped dropping songs after songs. The same year he released his much hyped “Bodymajik” visuals, an aesthetically ambitious video which was a follow up to his 2021 EP, titled “About Time”, which helped put him in the spotlight.
