Gospel Singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu Finally Laid To Rest While Husband Faces Court Trials

The prominent gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu has been finally laid to rest on Saturday, 25th June 2022.

The unfortunate incident occurred in the Nigerian Gospel Music industry on the 8th of April 2022 when news circulated about the sudden demise of the 42 year old Gospel singer which family reported to have been caused by the alleged brutality of the husband towards her.

The husband is facing charges in court as Osinachi’s family organized a proper burial proceedings for her. Present at the burial ceremony was her twin sister, siblings, parents, children, leaders from Dunamis church, and fans.

The late singer was popular for her feature in the “Ekueme” song. The hit gospel song had over 71million views on YouTube and she had also featured in songs like ‘Nara Ekele’ by Pastor Dr. Paul Eneche, ‘You no dey use me play’ by Emma, etc.

She was a mother of four and lead singer at Dunamis Christian Center, Abuja.

A foundation was instated in remembrance of her. To keep her legacy, the Osinachi Nwachukwu Foundation Certificate was presented to the family by Nkeiruka Onyejeocha who represented the Minister for Women Affairs and Social Development, Pauline Tallen, at the burial.

The foundation was raised for the purpose of supporting young women in entrepreneurship skills.

Due to the allegations against the husband,  he was arrested on the 11th of April and he is standing trial on a 23-count charge which is centered around domestic violence and homicide. We believe Justice will be served as need be.

May the soul of the deceased be granted peace.
