Davido made the announcement of his return on Tuesday after being off social media for months. His absence from social media was triggered by the painful death of his son, and he announced that he wouldn’t be present on social media for some time after his World Cup final performance last November.
The announcement excited a lot of his social media followers, especially as his return comes with a much-anticipated album release. His eagerly awaited fourth studio album, “Timeless,” is set to be released on March 31st, this year.He also dropped a teaser to one of the songs that would be expected in the Timeless album.

The Afrobeats Star, while making the announcement on social media, wrote “There is a time for everything. A time to grieve and a time to heal There is a time to laugh and a time to dance. A time to speak and a time for silence,”
He also showed gratitude to everyone who reached out, sent gifts, and organized a concert for him while he was away.
